A base for exploring Alto Bernesga, Picos de Europa and the Ruta de la Plata<\/h2>\n\n

Bicis & Vacas is located in La Pola de Gord\u00f3n, around 25 minutes from Le\u00f3n, close to the N-630 and in the heart of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve.<\/p>\n\n

From here, you can explore the mountain roads of Alto Bernesga, continue into Asturias, plan a day trip to Picos de Europa or carry on along the Ruta de la Plata.<\/p>\n\n

The location also makes it easy to stay for several days and enjoy different motorcycle routes, returning to the hotel each evening. When you get back, you can leave your bike in our private parking at no extra cost and forget about riding again until the following day. <\/p>\n\n

Travelling by motorcycle from the UK?<\/h2>\n\n

If you’re travelling from the UK with your own motorcycle, the ferry to Santander is one of the main gateways to northern Spain.<\/p>\n\n

Brittany Ferries connects Plymouth and Portsmouth with Santander and allows passengers to travel with their motorcycles. From Santander, you can reach La Pola de Gord\u00f3n in approximately two and a half hours by road. <\/p>\n\n

Bicis & Vacas is an ideal first stop, giving you a base from which to explore the mountains of Le\u00f3n, Asturias and Picos de Europa, or continue your journey along the Ruta de la Plata.<\/p>\n\n

Where along the Ruta de la Plata is Bicis & Vacas located?<\/h3>\n\n

Bicis & Vacas is located in La Pola de Gord\u00f3n (Le\u00f3n), on the northern section of the Ruta de la Plata and close to the N-630, the historic road connecting Seville and Gij\u00f3n. If you’re travelling from south to north, you’ll find us just after Le\u00f3n, in the heart of the mountains, before continuing towards Asturias and the Pajares Pass. <\/p>\n\n

La Pola de Gord\u00f3n is part of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve, making it a great place to stop for a few days and combine the Ruta de la Plata with motorcycle rides through the Cantabrian Mountains.<\/p>\n\n
