From here, you can explore the mountain roads of Alto Bernesga, continue into Asturias, plan a day trip to Picos de Europa or carry on along the Ruta de la Plata.
The location also makes it easy to stay for several days and enjoy different motorcycle routes, returning to the hotel each evening. When you get back, you can leave your bike in our private parking at no extra cost and forget about riding again until the following day.
Travelling by motorcycle from the UK?
If you’re travelling from the UK with your own motorcycle, the ferry to Santander is one of the main gateways to northern Spain.
Brittany Ferries connects Plymouth and Portsmouth with Santander and allows passengers to travel with their motorcycles. From Santander, you can reach La Pola de Gordón in approximately two and a half hours by road.
Bicis & Vacas is an ideal first stop, giving you a base from which to explore the mountains of León, Asturias and Picos de Europa, or continue your journey along the Ruta de la Plata.
